Portal for medical document management

The client partnered with Aimprosoft to work on their web-based portal for medical documents and data management, including visits, medical cards, disease history, and more. The system was outdated, so the company wanted to migrate it from Liferay 6.2 to the newest version, as well as do UI/UX redesign and develop new functionality.

We started with a migration from Liferay version 6.2 to 7.2, moving existing functionality, customization, custom portlets, database, and theme and introducing a new design. However, since the API had been changed to the latest version, our developers also had to restructure the implementation of the modules responsible for customization, ensuring compatibility with the updated API. In addition to the migration, our team implemented new portlets such as appointment scheduling, patient medical history tracking, prescription management, and test result viewing according to customer requirements.
