About the project
SelfCare is a feature-rich platform created by a facility and telecom services provider to provide its clients with a convenient account management system. The request was to rewrite the existing solution that failed to meet the client’s requirements with a modern tech stack. Our team developed functionality that enabled users to manage their utility services, monitor the status of bills, download payment receipts in PDF, and change current mobile tariffs. The developers also integrated the system with a payment gateway so that users could pay for their utility bills seamlessly.
They also enabled displaying of gas, light, and electricity consumption in the form of graphics. In addition, the developed feature set includes internal chat with the customer support representatives, FAQ, discount system, ability to upload images of meter readings and send them, and many others. We managed to transform a poorly performing PHP-based solution, turned it into a full-fledged one with the help of Angular 5, and implemented all the necessary tools to help the company’s customers control and pay their bills easily.
