Sports data portal

The client owned a sports portal for players, clubs, trainers, and fans. The solution provided information about tournaments, players’ ratings, club members, news, etc.  The company turned to Aimprosoft to expand their existing team with certified Liferay developers. They wanted to seamlessly migrate their solution from version 6.2, which was based on older technologies (JSF and ICEfaces), to a more advanced version.

In the course of the development, the portal was migrated from Liferay 6.2 to the latest 7.4 version. The migration was conducted in two stages. The first was technical migration – moving the product to Liferay 7.4 while keeping existing functionality. During the second phase, our developers used new Liferay 7.4 UI features to create a new and improved user interface and experience. By using cutting-edge front-end technologies such as fragments, style books, page templates, and master pages, we delivered a modern, intuitive, and highly functional user experience.
